Nacro Preston Youth Inclusion Project

Throughout the first term at Moor Park, a group of Year 10 students worked with a local organisation that helps young people to develop their potential and make positive life choices.

Nacro Preston Youth Inclusion Project provides a combination of sports activities and tailored learning support to develop students' key skills and personal attributes. The programme helps to foster a real sense of achievement and confidence among those who take part.

For twelve weeks, Adam Ward and Aaron Morris came to Moor Park twice a week to deliver sports sessions in the Gym and learning sessions in the Learning Resource Centre, covering literacy, numeracy and critical thinking skills.

All the Year 10 students who took part received a certificate at the end of the course in acknowledgement of their successful completion.

Well done to all those who took part.
