School Choir visit to St Pauls Court

On Wednesday 19 September Moor Park's school choir, accompanied by Ms Hargreaves our fantastic vocal tutor, went to St Pauls Court retirement home in Preston to help celebrate their Community Guild day.
The choir performed a number of songs which included a solo performance from Amber Ainsworth (Year 11) of 'Santa Lucia', Courtney Carr and Rhiana Clarkson (both in Year 8) performed 'White Flag' and Elliott Middleton (Year 11) provided a solo spot with the Olly Murs hit 'Thinking of You'.

The performance was attended by the Guild Mayor and Mayoress. Terry Harbon, who is a resident at St Pauls Court and helped to organise the event, said: "Thank you very much to Moor Park school choir. What a fantastic day. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the performance and all of the residents would love to see them sing at St Pauls Court again".

Well done to all the performers who, once again, were a credit to the school.
