Cambridge University Visit

A group of Moor Park’s academic high fliers have visited the ancient and venerable University of Cambridge in order to attend a presentation called “The Subject Matters”.
This practical session, delivered by University of Cambridge staff and current undergraduates, highlighted the importance of selecting the best possible combination of A-level subjects in order to gain access to prestigious selective universities.

The session also provided pupils with information about higher education in general and career opportunities as well as an overview of the application process. Following the presentation, a question and answer session was held which gave pupils the opportunity to quiz the undergraduates on all aspects of life at Cambridge.

The day was a fantastic opportunity to receive valuable advice from those working and studying at one of the world’s great academic institutions. Our group of Year 11s came back to Moor Park with their ambitions set sky high.
