Finalist in National Award 'Best Educational Building' - Moor Park Sixth Form and Sports Hall

Local Authorities across the country are invited annually to nominate a new building for an award in recognition of the quality, design and purpose for the ‘Best Educational Building’. We are very pleased to announce that Preston City Council nominated our new Sports Hall and Sixth Form for this prestigious award for 2015.

The nomination was taken through to the Regional Awards along with the finalists in other categories for the Awards Presentation Evening on Friday 8 May 2015. Representatives from school and the firm of Architect’s, Cassidy & Ashton, who designed the buildings, attended the ceremony.

Many students in Moor Park have benefitted greatly from using the new and outstanding facilities since they opened. We are very proud of this award which demonstrates how the school puts into practice our mission statement ‘Excellence in All’.
