Preston North End Visit

One evening in October, Mr Dickinson and Mr Gray took a group of excited pupils to watch Preston North End play Bradford City at Deepdale football ground.

The tickets were kindly donated to the school by Preston North End as part of their charter to promote links with the local community.

The pupils had a group photograph taken with Preston North End's mascot, Deepdale Duck, and stood pitch-side before the game watching the players warm up. The game itself was highly entertaining with the score ending 2-2.

Following the visit, some of the pupils received letters from the Preston players thanking them for attending the match and answering questions about life in professional footaball.

The visit was a great success and will hopefully be repeated in the future.
