Through our provision we aim to better meet needs of pupils, their families and the local Community. There is an extensive enrichment programme for pupils, to encourage support and motivate them to build on existing strengths and develop new skills. For the wider community we have a programme of courses and activities running on three evenings (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) each week and we also arrange family events and activities.
We work with Lancashire Adult Learning, local community groups and partners in the development of our programme. We offer adult learning, skills for life (where possible to gain nationally recognised qualifications); various interest courses and a range of physical activity sessions. Most of our courses and classes are free of charge or low cost to participants. We encourage any community groups or individuals to come to us with ideas for new courses or activities which they would like to see as part of the Community programme.
For more details on our current programme and specific activities please see the Community section on the school website (www.moopark.lancs.sch.uk) You can also contact Helen Hopkin on 01772 795428 ext 7227 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
