Ofsted invites Moor Park to share the Secrets of Success.

In May the Head teacher Mr Cunningham was invited to meet the new head of Ofsted Sir Michael Wilshaw to share our successful strategies for raising standards and narrowing gaps in achievement.

Sir Michael wanted to hear Mr Cunningham's views on what works well in schools to encourage young people, raise their aspirations and ensure they work hard to make progress.

Sir Michael said, "by drawing upon your expertise, we can help ensure other schools that are aspiring to improve are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to do so".

Mr Cunningham praised the pupils and teachers in Moor Park who have helped the school develop a culture of achievement that was recognised as 'outstanding' in our recent inspection.

He went onto say, "the vision and values that underpin our school success are shared by all in our community, including the parents/carers, governors and local business partners".

Sir Michael wrote to thank Mr Cunningham and stated how he 'thoroughly endorsed the points you have made, particularly in terms of leadership and setting the tone and culture of the school'.
