Year 10 Able & Talented Pupils Visit Oxford University!

Earlier this year Able & Talented pupils visited Oxford University, one of the most prestigious institutions of higher education in the world. To say that we were excited would be the understatement of the century!

The day was organised by Mrs Aslam, our Able & Talented Coordinator and was designed to be academically challenging.

After a lengthy journey we finally arrived at our destination and the University was so beautiful and imposing that even our teachers were lost for words! A former graduate welcomed us; we learned more about the University and were then given a tour of New College! We saw the grand buildings and the pristine courtyards.

Later that day, we were given the opportunity to ask questions of some Oxford students and then we had a taster session on the subject of Law and Employment. It was great: Humairaa Madari even got to fire our teachers in the way Lord Sugar does to his potential apprentices!

We all enjoyed a memorable day, and who knows, we might even be lucky enough to study there in the future!
