Safe Drive, Stay Alive

Year 12 students were invited to listen to a ‘Safe Drive, Stay Alive’ event at the Guild Hall. They had the opportunity to listen to real life stories from a number of professionals who have experienced working on such tragic car crash cases across the North West of England. Students listened as the details of such devastating cases were unveiled, rippling sadness through the audience as they were exposed to the harrowing consequences that driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, using a mobile phone or simply lacking concentration can have on the lives of young people today. Students found the experience highly beneficial, allowing them to stop and think about the consequences of their actions, embracing the message of ‘Safe Drive, Stay Alive’.
