Observatory Visit

UCLAN is one of the leading universities in the UK offering Astronomy courses, and the Year 12 students got the chance to gain an understanding on how science and technology is shaping the world of Astrophysics. Students also got the opportunity to see live images of galaxies and videos of various stars exploding captured from a state-of-the-art telescope. The astronomy observation tour ended with a detailed presentation on the history of astronomy and the major plans and research taking place worldwide to continue this work.
